How PoleView works.

A live motorsport race, rebuilt as a holographic diorama on your table — from position data you bring. Here's everything you need and how the pieces fit.

What you need.

  • A Meta Quest 3 or 3S

    PoleView is a standalone headset app — all the rendering happens on the Quest itself.

  • Your own live timing source

    The one you already run on your PC. PoleView reads the position data you bring — it never supplies or redistributes anyone's feed.

  • The same home WiFi

    Your PC and headset just need to be on the same network so the data can reach the diorama.

Architecture: the live timing source you already run on your PC shares position data over your own WiFi with PoleView on your Quest 3 or 3S, which rebuilds and renders the whole race as a holographic diorama. Everything stays on your home network.

    Bring your data

    The live timing source you already run on your PC. PoleView doesn't ship with anyone's feed and never touches one on your behalf — the data stays yours, on your hardware, on your network.

  2. > 02_poleview

    PoleView rebuilds it

    Positions become a holographic diorama, lap by lap. Every car in the field is placed on a reconstructed circuit as a clean, generic car — colour and number only — so you're watching the racecraft, not the livery.

  3. > 03_headset

    Watch it your way

    Put on your Quest and move around the whole field. Crouch to trackside, rise to a bird's-eye view, and arrange the command centre — live video windows and data panels, from feeds you bring — around the table.
