Privacy policy.

1. Who we are
PoleView is a product of Global Phoenix Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 14855822). Global Phoenix Solutions Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about anything in this policy at poleview@globalphoenix.co.uk.
2. What we collect, and why
Launch-list email and series vote. If you join the launch list we store the email address you give us, the racing discipline you voted for (if any), which part of the site you signed up from, and a timestamp. We use this to send you PoleView launch and progress emails and to understand which racing people want first. Legal basis: your consent, given via the signup checkbox. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
Analytics. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that collects aggregate usage statistics (pages viewed, referrers, approximate location derived from IP, device type) without tracking you across sites or storing identifiers on your device. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site. If we add a further analytics provider, this policy will name it.
Support payments. Donations and support payments are processed by Ko-fi and its payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store your card details. Ko-fi shares with us the information it shows any creator — typically your name or handle, message, and amount. Legal basis: performance of the transaction you initiate, and our legitimate interest in acknowledging supporters.
4. How long we keep it
Launch-list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, at which point it is removed from our systems and our email provider's. Aggregate analytics contain no directly identifying information and are kept for trend analysis. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to our processing of it; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing that happened before you withdrew). Email poleview@globalphoenix.co.uk to exercise any of them. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and, where appropriate, email the launch list. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
